Our good friend Alister invited us to a day of polo out at his family's farm in Goldburn. It took about 90 minutes to get there and on the way we stopped by the Big Marino -- a very large sheep. Australia is called the Big Country and to show this off people across the country build "Big things" like a giant sheep -- this is the first one we've seen first hand, but that website lists them all.
The polo fields were a little dry but with all the rain we had over this past weekend I am sure there will be some green blades of grass coming up now. If you click on the slideshow you can see the pictures in full screen mode.
