October/November 09 & A Hint of December

Well, we are finally getting our photos posted from the second half of the year. Better late than never, I guess. ;) Here are some pictures from this October and November. Carl's dad came to visit early October, we went the pumpkin patch and Lily and her friend Bryce had fun on the train and hunting for the perfect pumpkin. Lily also got to visit with her cousin Caleb in October and for Thanksgiving we went to Southern California where we all enjoyed a visit to the Long Beach Aquarium. Lily loved the Seal and you can see why from the photos. She also had a blast showing us her banana, yes while eating it. There is also a few pictures of Lily eating a sandwich like a big girl - where has our baby gone? Finally there are a few snaps of Lily at the Christmas Tree Lot picking out the tree. She loves the Christmas tree and is really good at not touching the ornaments on the tree. She just looks and says, WOW!

Some Snaps from June - October 09

We had a busy summer this year which included Lily's first birthday in July and a big celebration with all the kids, moms and dads from Tracy's mothers group. There are some cute pictures from the celebration. We also took a trip to the east coast in August to visit Grandma and Far Far (Grandpa in Swedish), Lily had a blast picking and eating wild strawberries from Grandma's garden. We then we had a long weekend in Newport, RI for a friend's wedding (Julia and Angus) from London. Next thing you know it is early October and we are picking out pumpkins at the patch and these are some serious patches in Half Moon Bay with animals, trains, corn mazes and a men dressed as gladiators, who Lily loved. Enjoy

Lily's Photoshoot

We asked Annie Florin - an excellent child photographer in San Francisco - to spend the morning with us back in April to take some photos of Lily (just 9 months at the time) and these were the best of the bunch. Some very sweet moments we all shared that day - can't believe she is now 17 months old. They always say it goes so fast, glad we can capture some of the moments with pictures. Enjoy.
